My name is Keanu Heydari. I majored in history and minored in French at UCLA. My research focused on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in Europe with an emphasis on French social and cultural history. I also spent time studying German.
I currently serve as a pastoral intern at Pacific Crossroads Church (member PCA) in Santa Monica, California. I served as a teacher on the Youth Team at Pacific Crossroads in 2017 (listen to the sermons I gave here). I intend to pursue graduate coursework in history, systematic theology, and New Testament/Pauline studies.
My favorite theologians and academics include, among many others: St. Irenaeus, St. Gregory of Nyssa, Karl Barth, John Calvin, N.T. Wright, Beverly Gaventa, James D. G. Dunn, Fleming Rutledge, Julie Canlis, E. P. Sanders, Susan Schreiner, Katherine Sonderegger, Hans urs Von Balthasar, Paul Molnar, George Hunsinger, Bruce McCormack, the late Robert Jenson, and the late John Webster.
